Switzerland Corn Maze...

This past Monday was a holiday in Germany - National Reunification Day (celebrating the tearing down of the Berlin Wall which separated East and West Germany during the Cold War). Being that it was a holiday, I had no work. The family that I am staying with took me to a corn maze on the outskirts of Basel, Switzerland (my first official time in Switzerland!). Here are some pictures from our time there... and remember, just click on the photo to enlarge it.

Here you go dad, took a picture of the cows for you...
Nothing like having a mechanical back-scratcher for the bull...

 These are cucumbers. Yes, cucumbers...
 The farm dog...
Meet Mary and Hannah, part of the family I'm staying with...
Here's the family again but this time including David and one of Hannah's friends (there's one sister missing, Kate. She was on a class trip to Rome). They had TONS of varieties of pumpkins, gourds, and vegetables for sale at the farm...
Field next to the corn maze...
 "drinking water"...
Why of course, no corn maze would be complete without a seating area (where you could actually bring your firewood in and barbecue...inside the maze!), a trampoline, and zip-line. They also had a seesaw, climbing wall, slide, balancing thing, and a couple other activities to do inside the maze...
A type of poppy flower inside the maze...
