Welcome to the dairy farm that sits on top of the hill in Kandern. They are open four days a week to buy milk, yogurt, produce, etc. - a nice farm fresh taste. A few weeks ago, they opened their farm to the public for a festival (meaning I got a sneak peak at how a German dairy is run)...

It's almost like home - Kandern has tractors and boats and houses...just in a more miniature state...

Quite a few people have dogs here (most seem to be the size of large cats, ugh). Yesterday I saw a lady riding her horse through town with her dog on a leash that was attached to the saddle. That's one way to kill two birds with one stone...
